I recently did video showing "How to make a simple Easel Card". I've been asked a few times, where it can be found - of course if you're savvy enough to subscribe to my youtube channel you will already know where to find it.

The link to the video can be found by clicking HERE This is the card that you will be shown how to make on the video, from the images printed off from Magik Graphics, Magical Fairytales

The basic easel card is very versatile and can be used to make cards for all occasions. You too, can easily make fabulous unique Christmas cards.

I love this one I made yesterday - the images are from Magik Graphics, The Magikal Christmas Collection CD. The Merry Christmas is a Sweet Dixie die:

Clicking on the card will take you to the Christmas section on the website, and clicking on the individual products used will take you straight to the item.

News

  • Sue Andrews (Magik Graphics) announced on Create & Craft last night that her designs are going to be made into cross stitch as well as CD's. I will bring you more news about this as it happens.

  • I am now the owner of a Crafters Companion Gemini GO. I am hoping to put a video together on the basics of using it. If you are new to die cutting this will be especially useful for you. I did one 'live', but it came out so blurry that I had to delete it - the story of my day yesterday

Coming next week

Continuing on from the theme of easel cards, I am going to be doing a video on how to make a twisted easel card next week. I will let you have a link in the next newsletter - I also did a video for this yesterday, but pressed pause by mistake half way through, and cut myself off in my prime!

Yesterday was not a good day!

Our first show since August is a week Sunday (7th October), with Sincerely Yours at Newark. We're really looking forward to it. If you are able to get there don't forget to say 'Hello'.

Details of the show can be found HERE You can purchase advance tickets for £3.00 (instead of £3.50 on the door). I believe you will also get a free tea or coffee for advance ticket purchases

That's it for this week!
