Having been away the best part of 2 weeks, I was in need of some crafting when I got back.   I decided that yesterday was the day!

I need to start making Christmas cards, presents etc I chose 2 different products to see what I could make quickly:

Magik Graphics Christmas Collection CD and Sweet Dixie Nativity Scene

I started with Magik Graphics and chose 2 of the folders on the CD. I also took some photos as I went along to show you what I'd used and where the images came from. This is the finished card:

To make it I used 2 of the folders on the CD - Santa Claus & Mrs Claus! They both had identical layouts of images, and here is the image of the Mrs Claus page I chose and printed out. As you can see, I cut out the square picture

I decided that I would like to put a shine on the image, and I used clear pigment ink and Wow Neutral Ultra Shimmer on top:

The backing paper was also printed from an image on the CD, and the 'Merry Christmas' die is the Sweet Dixie Large Merry Christmas Die, which we have a small supply of in stock - CLICK HERE

There are still a number of images left, on the pages of images that I used, which can be used to make more projects with. This is the value of using a CD

Now for the Sweet Dixie Nativity Scene.

I have made a topper for a card, which could also be framed and used as a picture:

I've used a Sissex embossing folder that I had in my stash for the background, and then used blending brushes and some distress ink on the embossed card. I die cut the Nativity scene in black card, and stuck it to the embossed card. I used some Black Glitter card to 'layer' it up

If you looked for it on 20th September, then you'll know that the Magik Graphics Show didn't take place on Create & Craft. It could be sometime next week, so keep an eye out.

The following Magik Graphics CD's are back in stock on my website, having recently sold out. Click on the images to go directly to them or HERE for the full Magik Graphics range.

Moonlight Enchantment will be put on the website over the weekend. If you want me to reserve one, let me know.
